As the summer heat rises, there’s no better time to embrace a healthier lifestyle with refreshing smoothies, chilled soups, and nutritious frozen treats. A reliable blender is your ultimate kitchen companion, making it effortless to whip up these delicious and healthy concoctions.Β

We explore a variety of blenders (fromΒ Breville,Β Vitamix, Cuisinart, Braun, Nutribullet and Ninja) perfect for your summer needs, assessing their performance, ease of use, and versatility. Whether you’re looking to start your day with a vibrant green smoothie or end it with a guilt-free sorbet, our in-depth analysis will help you find the ideal blender to support your health goals and keep you cool all summer long.

Check out below the different blenders we’ve reviewed to help you decide which one best fits your needs!Β

The Breville Super Q Blender – $549,95

We recently tried theΒ Breville Super QΒ Blender, and we find it fantastic for home use. It’s powerful, with a 2400W motor and 12-speed settings, yet surprisingly quiet and user-friendly. It quickly blends smoothies, handles ice with ease, and offers five one-touch options for ice crush/pulse, smoothies, green smoothies, frozen desserts, and soup.

We loved its versatility – from making nut butters to grinding spices. The soup function is a great touch, heating ingredients right in the blender.

The digital monitor tracks blending time, and the variable speed dial is intuitive. The 2-litre BPA-free jug is light and easy to clean. An optional ‘Vac Q’ attachment removes air for smoother blends. Plus, it comes with a personal blending cup and adjusts settings based on the vessel attached.

Overall, it’s a powerful, versatile, and user-friendly blender that’s perfect for any kitchen.

The Vitamix 5200 Blender – $549,99

We’ve tried the heavy-duty Vitamix 5200, and it’s become one of our favorite blender. It handles everything we have so far thrown at it, from soups to nuts, with ease. We love homemade almond milk, and this blender makes ours turns out rich and smooth. Tried it for cocktails too, and it whipped up a frozen cocktail in under a minute without any stress on the motor. The blades can heat soup from cold to steaming hot in just six minutes.

However, it didn’t do well with a small batch of mayonnaise – the single egg yolk and oil didn’t blend smoothly and stuck to the sides. With its 64-ounce pitcher, it’s definitely better for larger batches. And while it’s on the pricey side like all Vitamix models, its performance makes it worth the investment.

The Cuisinart Hurricane 2,25 Peak Blender – $199,95

Despite its moderate size and weight of just 7.5 pounds, the Cuisinart Hurricane 2.25 Peak Blender packs a powerful punch with its 2.25 HP motor. We tried it for drinks, dips and batters, and it effortlessly creating all of them.

The 4-pronged stainless steel blades handle even the toughest ingredients, and the double-housing base ensures quiet operation. During prolonged use, like soup preparation, it never overheated or shut off. The easy-to-understand interface, large 60oz plastic jar with measurement markings, and tightly sealing lid with a 2oz measuring cap make food prep a breeze.

The LCD display is user-friendly, offering a programmable countdown timer, three-speed touchpad controls, and pre-programmed Ice Crush and Smoothie functions. With Cuisinart’s sterling reputation backing it, the Hurricane Blender has proven to be great value for money!

The Braun MultiQuick Immersion Blender – $99,95

We are really impressed with this blender’s performance. Its 400-watt motor is outstanding, and it comes with handy attachments like a whisk, chopping chamber, and purΓ©e accessory. Swapping these out is a breeze with the one-button release system. The variable speeds are easy to control by adjusting the squeeze on the blending wand, and it can even pulse by alternating pressure.

From blending avocados and zesting lemon peel to whipping cream and grinding graham crackers, all was handled perfectly.Β

However, the chopping chamber is a bit small, so it’s best for tasks requiring a 2-cup or smaller capacity. The blending wand is also a bit short, which can be inconvenient for making soup in large pots. Despite this it’s a powerful, versatile tool that can replace several small kitchen appliances.

The Nutribullet Smart Touch Blender – $127,99

The Nutribullet Smart Touch is perfect for those looking to blend large batches of ingredients. Its tall and wide build might not be ideal for smaller kitchens, but its sleek and attractive design makes it a stylish addition to any countertop.

The design is incredibly user-friendly, with a bright display that lights up when turned on and clearly labeled settings. It offers four speeds (pulse, low, medium, and high) and presets for frozen drinks, smoothies, soups, and purΓ©es. The 1.85-liter jug has a comfortable, sturdy handle, and everything locks into place easily.

The Smart Touch blended three portions of our smoothie recipe in under a minute, cutting through berry seeds for a super-smooth, lump-free result. It is quite noisy, but this top-notch, durable blender is well worth the investment.

The Ninja Blast Blender – $59,99

The Ninja Blast Blender is, without a doubt, a game-changer for anyone with a busy lifestyle.Β  It comes with a USB-C rechargeable motor base, charging cord, 530ml blending cup, sip lid with a handle, cup cover, and blade cover. Its compact and smart design fits easily into any bag, and both the cup and lid are dishwasher-safe, making cleanup a breeze.

Charging the Ninja Blast for the first time took at least two hours, but the short cord and lack of a plug were a bit inconvenient. You also need the manual to understanding what the different light colors mean (flashing orange, purple, etc.)

The blender runs for 30 seconds automatically, and the low noise level was impressive. Despite the silence, it delivered smooth, consistent results, with no lumps.

Detaching the blender cup is also easy and thanks to the sip lid being leak-proof, you can just toss the cup into your bag without any worries.
